This week Kinsey turned 17 months! She's also learning a lot lately and continues to impress us. Not only has she gotten better at holding her sippy cup, but she's also starting to help feed herself. Here are a couple videos -

Last weekend Kinsey got to see two different Easter bunnies. First we went to the Hospice PedsCare Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday. (You may remember this is where the Easter bunny "strangled" Kinsey last year trying to hold her upright for a picture.) This year she could actually appreciate the Egg Hunt - we took her in the courtyard and sat her down near a bunch of eggs and let her pick them up. She really investigated some of them - so cute! Then she sat on the Easter Bunny's lap and had her picture taken.
On Sunday, some friends of ours had their own Easter Bunny visit their house and they invited Kinsey and some other little ones over to meet him. This Easter Bunny looked like Peter Rabbit. Kinsey was all about his paws just like she was with Minnie Mouse's gloves!
This week we also recently discovered that Kinsey can now roll over from her stomach to her back. Well, only if her arms are in the right place. And she's still not using her arms to do it, she's using her legs of course! But hey, at least she's doing it! Here's a video: http://youtu.be/i09Aq4z_W3o
We've been giving Kinsey a higher calorie diet for a little over a week now and haven't really seen a change yet. She's been getting 700-850 calories a day compared to 500-600 before. We'll keep it up for a while longer and see if it makes a difference. I think she can tell when I put the Duo Cal in her food (even though it's not supposed to change the texture or taste). She doesn't seem to mind the Soy PediaSure and we found something really high calorie that she really seems to like - Coconut Milk! Problem with that is it's so thick that it clogs up the holes in her sippy cup. Anyway, we'll keep trying. Oh, and Jamie pointed out that I had a typo in the blog last week - I'm assuming you all know that Kinsey weighs 19 lbs 8 oz (not 9 lbs). She's small, but not THAT small!
One more video - this is a funny one I took of her in her Jeep walker. She was outside next to my car and she could see her reflection in the car. She kept staring and watching herself go back and forth for a long time. By the time I got the camera she only did it for another minute: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqb33ZQd0ks
That's it for this week. . .

Love the blog! Can hardly wait to see you three in a couple weeks.
The video of her grabbing the spoon from Grandpa is darling! And I love how proud she is of herself when she rolls over. XOXOXO Kinsey!
